Peter B. Teeley

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Peter B. Teeley, a remarkable leader, philanthropist, and advocate for children and families. Peter founded and led CCF for an incredible 29 years. He passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of service and compassion that have profoundly shaped the Washington, DC community and beyond.

His wife, Dr. Victoria Casey has designated The Ruesch Center for the Cure of GI Cancers and the Peter B. Teeley Children's Charities Foundation for donations in Peter's honor.

Overview

Former US Ambassador, Peter B. Teeley founded the Children's Charities Foundation in 1994 and invited leaders in business, politics, sports, and journalism to serve as board members. CCF was founded based on the acute need to raise money for disadvantaged youth of the Washington DC metropolitan area.

The Peter B. Teeley Children's Charities Foundation supports at-risk children through our fundraising efforts and direct programming.
